Bob was a man who Love the Lord and Loved his Church. He was a blessing to the Church in many roles over the years not the least of which he was an example to the younger men of what a Christian man should be. Bob will be missed by his church and his Family but we take great comfort in knowing that he is with his Lord and Saviour and at peace for evermore. 2 Corinthians 5:7-8 (7For we walk by faith, not by sight: 8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.)

—Matthew & Miranda Roberts

Bob was a truly good man who loved our church and cared for God’s house. We find peace knowing he is now resting safely with the Lord. We are praying that God holds your family close and gives you strength right now. "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."-John 14:27

—Luke & DeAnna Boone

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Bob Ramsey. He was a faithful anchor and trusted trustee at First Freewill Baptist Church of Morganton. Bob had a remarkably big heart and dedicated his life to taking care of his family, leading them steadily in the pathway to God. Men of his rare character and integrity are hard to find today. To the family, we encourage you to follow in his footsteps and trust in the Lord always. We hold onto the beautiful promise that we will see him again if we continue to walk in the way of the Lord. You are in our prayers.
