Patsy Aileen Carswell, 79, already an angel, earned her wings Friday, December 16, 2022.

Born in Burke County, NC on April 14, 1943, she was the first twin of the late Reid Carswell and Ora Lee Duckworth Carswell. Patsy was a graduate of Oak Hill High School and continued her love for learning throughout her life. Knowledge is power, and she was one strong lady. Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters, Lorene Carswell (her twin) and Judith Glenn; brother, Douglas Carswell; niece, Felicia; and many devoted friends.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Otis Glenn, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev.
