My heart breaks for Cindy's family! My thoughts and prayers are with yall! I was a year older than Cindy in school - We rode the bus together from Elementary to Middle School. We had good times on the bus - She was the "mother" to Mike and their cousins. Rest easy Cindy!!

I met Cindy when we went on a girl's cruise in 2014. After that we went on a few more trips together. During one of the trips to Florida, we were eating at a McDonald's. I was already sitting, the rest of our group was sitting and Cindy was the last one to the table. She was about to sit down when I heard her say "Sir, are you ok?" She was speaking to a man that I hadn't even seen, none of us had even noticed. He was homeless and sitting alone. She asked if he was hungry and went and got him something to eat and drink. She looked out for people, people others didn't notice or overlooked. She loved everyone and took action when they needed her. She was a beautiful souls in an ugly world. We are all blessed to have known her. My prayers are with her family. She loved you all and will rejoice when you all see each other again someday! Rest in Jesus sweet friend!
