Sharon Beth Whittington, 52, of Granite Falls, NC, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023.
Born in Caldwell County, NC on August 18, 1971, she is the daughter of the late David Bruce Williams and Wanda Absher.
Sharon was a member of Whitnel First Baptist Church. She was a loving person who always helped others, and she was an avid fan of Bingo. Her world revolved around her son, Devin, and he was the love of her life. Sharon was an amazing, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She is survived by her beloved son, Devin Whittington; siblings, Shannon Woods (Shannon Nichols) and Misty Walker; niece, Karen Williams (Cole); nephew, Jesse Woods (Lanie); great-nephew, Mason Williams; great-niece, Raelynn Sanders; and close friend, Darin Whittington.
In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by a nephew, James Nelson Woods, III.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Rev. Keith Rose and his wife, Shane, for their compassion during this difficult time.
