Samantha had a career as a Dental Assistant and was currently going back to school. She was a sweet soul, enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping and enjoyed learning about new things. Samantha was very independent, strong, and determined to have a better future and to help others in need.
Samantha is survived by her daughter, Gracie Ann Foster; fianc, Dustin Jordan; mother, Melissa Lloyd (James); sister, Chelsea Holder (Matt); nieces, Kennedie and Riley Holder; step brother, Carson Lloyd; grandparents, James Gurley, Wanda Gurley, Rodney Kral, Joyce and Wesley Crow; uncle, Chris Gurley; aunts, Lynn Lawson and Elaine Gurley; cousins, Gabe Lawson and Autumn Gurley; and a number of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Samantha was preceded in death by her father, James Crow.
A celebration of life will be held at 1pm, Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Sossoman Funeral Home with Aunt Lynn Lawson officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

She was a very sweet person, prayers for her family.
My dear SweetSam, I can still hear that infectious laugh of yours. I can still see that big pearly white smile. I am still in shock that you are no longer here. I’m not exactly sure how to put it into words. You were one of the very few people I could completely confide in and know that I was in a no judgement zone. You always helped every one that you could. You had such a caring and genuine heart. There isn’t a doubt in my mind that you are in heaven with your precious daddy right now, but that doesn’t make it any easier to say goodbye to someone we weren’t ready to let go of. You truly will be missed. Thank you for always being someone that loved me for me and always having a listening ear. I love you Sam! Until I see you again, keep an eye on us down here.

Everytime I saw Sam, she had a big smile on her beautiful face. She always had a kind word to say and never met a stranger. RIP sweet Sam. You will truly be missed.

Samantha had such a great spirit and was just as sassy. Knowing she is completely healed and walking with her loved ones who are with the Lord gives all comfort; our hearts are heavy with grief, but we know she will be waiting to see her family and friends.
