Nancy Jo Duckworth, 80, of Morganton, NC passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024. She was born on March 3, 1944 in Burke County to the late Charles Bollinger and Pearl Shoupe Bollinger. Nancy loved her family dearly. She enjoyed collecting antiques and gardening especially growing roses.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Duckworth; son, Darryl Eugene Anthony.

Nancy is survived by a son, Tim Anthony; daughter, Sherry; grandchildren, Tim Anthony II, Zach Anthony, Brandon Anthony, Johnny Anthony and Justin Anthony; siblings, David Bollinger, Laura Ann Reed, Bob Bollinger, and Betty Jean.; numerous great-grandchildren.

There are no services planned at this time.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Heaven received another beautiful angel,You are forever in our hearts,we miss walking through your door and seeing you light up with excitement and smileing from to ear to ear when you seen us,i miss you calling me sissy,not sure why ya called me sissy though lol and i enjoyed hearing ya say sissy,we enjoyed talking to you and spending time with you and i am so thankful i got to know and meet you.thank you so much for calling me on my birthday and singing happy birthday to me,you made my day more than you ever knew...when we went places you would allways a make a new friend,you allways had me laughing,im glad i was able to be there for you and help you and thank you for allways being there for me,thank you for everything,,ill carry u in my heart allways,love you allways,love SISSY and BRANDON.....to the family sorry for your loss and ill keep you in my prayers....😢😢💜🙏🏼🩷🙏🏼💜😢😢
