Mary Grace Haller, 78, of Morganton, NC, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

Born in Connecticut on November 7, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Tottenham and Grace Andrews Tottenham.

Mary was an involved member of Praise Assembly of God in Glen Alpine. In 1995, she moved to Glen Alpine from California with her family, and she owned and operated the Glen Alpine Depot from 1998 until 2014. Mary was a people-person who enjoyed talking and taking care of people. She loved Jesus, her family, friends and drinking coffee.

Mary is survived by her children, Justin Haller (fiance, Mary) and Becky Georges (Dusty); step-children, Jon Haller and Jeff Haller; grandchildren, Skylar Georges and Lawson Georges; siblings, Melissa Drozd (Gary) and James Tottenham (Terry); sister-in-law, Charlotte, Rita, and Lanita Tottenham; many nieces and nephews; and the father of her children, Jim Haller.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Jill Drown; brothers, Jack, Joel, Jeffrey, and Peter Tottenham; and a niece, Teresa Sievers.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Praise Assembly of God. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. in the church with Pastor Kevin Crawford officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
