Lisa Carleen Bowen, 63, of Nebo, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Born in Shelby, NC on March 6, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Carl Lee Bowen and Lottie Mae Chapman Bowen.

Lisa was a member of her beloved church, Nowlings Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed helping her mother with her sewing and attended the Enola Group Daycare.

Miss Bowen is survived by her sisters, Theresa Dalton (Arnold) and Terry Smith; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Roper.

Lisa will be available for viewing from 2:30 to 3 p.m., Tuesday, May 9, 2023 in the Chapel at Burke Memorial Mausoleum. The cryptside service will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Darvy Hensley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Nowlings Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
