Kevin Denton, 53, of Morganton, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 31, 2025.
Born in Burke County, NC on April 28, 1971, he was the son of William Bill Jackson Denton and Judy Carolyn Spake Denton.
Kevin was a loving son and brother. He was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys and loved watching football. He also enjoyed riding his dirt-bike and ATV, and he was a former Mustang buff. Kevin worked at numerous manufacturing facilities, including American Roller Bearing, Dana Corporation, and Caterpillar.
In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by his brother, Mark Denton (Sandy); nephew, Colby Denton (Tabby); nieces, Jessica Denton Lookadoo (Jacob) and Sarah Denton (Trevor); and his numerous feline companions.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m., Thursday, April 3, 2025 at the Christian Learning Center at Dentons Chapel Church. The graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. in the church cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Queen officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
