Some people come into our lives and leave footprints so deep that time can never erase them. You were one of those people. Though our friendship may not have been measured by years, it was measured by the kindness, warmth, and genuine care that you shared so freely with others. You had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, and appreciated simply by being yourself. What I will remember most is your beautiful heart. In a world that can sometimes feel harsh, you chose compassion. You chose love. You chose to give a voice to those who could not speak for themselves and opened your heart to animals that many others overlooked. The love you gave so selflessly made a difference and will continue to ripple through the lives you touched. Your journey was not always easy, yet your strength and determination were remarkable. You faced life's challenges with courage and grace, inspiring more people than you likely ever realized. Thank you for the smiles, the conversations, the friendships you helped create, and the reminder that one person's kindness can truly make the world a better place. You may be gone from our sight, but you will never be gone from our hearts. Rest peacefully, Kay. You were deeply loved, and you will be dearly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Kay was one of those special people whose kindness seemed to have no limits. She had such a big heart and was always willing to help others, even when she didn’t have to. The impact she made on the lives of so many people is a testament to the wonderful person she was. I know she will be deeply missed by all, especially by Jerry, Ashley, and Gabriel. While no words can take away the pain of losing someone so loved, I hope you can find comfort in the memories you shared and in knowing how much she meant to everyone around her. Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Kay’s kindness and love clearly left a lasting mark on those around her. My condolences to you her family. ❤️

Mama Kayla, Even though I was blessed enough to call you, not just my friend, but my family for almost 20 years, I feel so robbed. I didn't get nearly enough time with you! I will carry every phone call, every visit, every road trip, every laugh, and every year we shared deep in my heart for the rest of my life. You taught me so much about being a friend, being a wife, being a mother, and being a grandmother. You taught me so much about fighting my own illnesses and showing up every single day to love life to fullest. I love you so much, Kayla. I know that when my own time on this Earth is done you will be one of the first to welcome me home. We will all be there for Jerry as he navigates this painful journey and do our best to ensure he is okay.
