I was close friend with John. I also got John to come speak to my history classes about his experiences during the Vietnam War.The moving and straight talk he gave about his experience was always a highlight for the year.It wasn’t until years after that his wife showed me all the medals John was given Medals he never mentioned in his presentation a real friend and hero has passed and will be missed.Thank you John.Denny Young

He was a darling man, who is haunted no more. He now stands in the glory of the father. I know he is missed, but it is not farewell, only see you later.
