Jackie Dean Sheets, 52, of Vale, NC, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026.
Born in Catawba County, NC on June 5, 1973, he was the son of the late Jackie Sylvaree Sheets and Judy Barnes Sheets.
Jackie attended Mull’s Chapel Baptist Church and loved Jesus. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working, guns, hunting, fishing, and life in general. He also enjoyed NASCAR and was a Ford man.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Emma Price Sheets, daughter, Samantha Nicole Sheets; son, Dakota Dean Sheets; step-children, Sara Milstead (Jason), Vickie Beard, and David Proffitt; grandchildren, Wyatt Dean Sheets, Ada Milstead, and Steve Beard; and a sister, Jeana Gayle Sheets.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 12 noon to 1 pm at Sossoman Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm at Mull’s Chapel Baptist Church.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

I am completely devastated by the loss of such a genuine - precious- kind - fun- loving -one of a kind good hearted man!!! Jackie you lit up our lives for 15 years with your laughter and jokes and country way of doing things that we didn’t know. You always knew how to make the boys and myself smile. Always making a joke and cracking us up. You were family to us. It’s hard for us to believe you’re gone but we know one day we will see you again! Until that day, rest in peace. We love you!!!

Jackie you always made me laugh, I’ll never forget a lot of the times way back when. Fly High my friend one day we will dwell together with our friends and family.
I know your finally at peace and talked to ya dad by now 😊 and got a boy to carry on his name just as redheaded as me yeah God’s got a sense of humor lol 😊 and I can hear Judy well Jackie😂😂😂😂😂 tell her I miss her you know when you tried to get me to go to my grandma’s funeral. I don’t say goodbye. I get mad. lol 😂 I figured you would outlive me to piss me off. So did Darren 😂😂😂 yea I can honestly say I know I’ll see you again one day I was there the day ya got saved 😊
