Christian Thomas Hill, 25, of Morganton, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 13, 2023. He was an organ donor who helped save three other families from going through hard times.

Born in Burke County, NC on April 29, 1998, he is the son of Christian Chamberlain Bradley Hill and Amy Waycaster Hill (T.J. Fox).

Christian was a 2016 graduate of Freedom High School. He was a loving son and brother who always cared for others and enjoyed making others laugh. Christian was the most giving, kind-hearted, free spirit. He was an incredible skate boarder and was always willing to help someone learn. He was a very talented drummer. Christian had many friends from all walks of life, and he touched the hearts of many. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, Christian is survived by his sisters, Faith Hill and Jaimie Hill; brother, Josh Hill (Hannah); nephews, Troy and Hayden Hill; and grandmother, Bettie Epley.

Christian was preceded in death by grandmother, Pam Loven; grandfather, James A. Branch; and great-grandparents, Charles and Helena Bradley and Paul and Annie Waycaster.

The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 p.m., Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Snow Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Duckworth officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

I remember Christian as an 8th grader at Table Rock Middle School. As his principal, I found him to be a kind hearted soul. I am so very sorry for your loss. May God be with you during these difficult days. ❤️🙏🏻
