Brian never met a stranger and had the biggest heart ever. Will miss you my friend. You may be gone but you will never be forgotten. RIP my friend until we meet again.
Brian Yount, that’s the name that comes to mind when I think of the meaning of true friendship. As I’ve said before, he set the bar high for what it means to be a friend. The loyalty and respect he had for the people he loved was something I’ve rarely seen in my life. In all the years I knew him, I can’t recall a single negative moment. Every time we were together, he either brought laughter or shared wisdom that stayed with me. When I first started at the plant back in 1999, I was just a kid. Over time, many of the guys there became mentors to me—Brian and his brother Barry especially. He will be deeply missed. My heart goes out to his family and all who had the privilege of calling him a friend.
I’m going to miss you pawpaw😞
