Brian Crawford, 55, of Morganton, NC, passed away Friday, December 30, 2022.

Born in Burke County, NC on June 7, 1967, he was the son of Steve Crawford and Marcella Ollis Crawford. Brian was a member of Praise Assembly of God, and he loved animals, music, and singing.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Crawford is survived by his wife, Jackie McLean Crawford; step-children, Kelly and Ronnie; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Sherry Causby; and niece, Chelsea Suttles (Landon).

Brian was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elmer and Ruth Crawford; maternal grandparents, George and Edith Ollis; and brother-in-law, Jimmy Ray Causby.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2023 at Praise Assembly of God. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. in the church with Revs. Kevin Crawford and Boyd Biggerstaff officiating. Burial will follow in Park Hill Memorial Gardens. Psalms 98:1 - O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

Memorial contributions may be made to CCRP or Vessels of Mercy.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
