Zacarias Castro Renteria, 61, of Lenoir, NC died Monday, August 20, 2012. He was born in Mexico City, Mexico on September 4, 1950 and was the son of the late Hipolito Castro and Juana Rentaria. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Delphinia.Zacarias is survived by sons, Isidro and George Castro both of Catawba County, and by daughters, Sandra Castro of Guatemala, Laura Barbagallo of Granite Falls, Maria Delphinia Castro of Morganton, and Maria Angeles Elizabeth Castro of Lenoir.Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 24, 2012 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Fr. Julio Dominguez officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
