In addition to her parents, Willow is survived by her big brother, Jensen Basnett; maternal grandparents, Richard and Ashley Penley; paternal grandfather, Michael Basnett; paternal grandmother, Misty Carpenter; and numerous extended family.
Willow was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Troy Wolfe, Jr.; maternal great-grandparents, Troy Wolfe, Sr. and Kimberly Banner; and paternal great-grandparents, James and Madge Basnett.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., Friday, July 11, 2025 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Shane Ramsey officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Through every ultrasound picture and every exciting conversation with Katlin I grew to love you even more than I knew was possible to love someone that I hadn’t even met yet. I just know that you are the most beautiful baby in heaven and I can’t wait until the day I get to meet you ❤️

My sweetest angel..even though your existence was short your memory will be forever lasting. I will regret life knowing of the miss opportunities of memories that should have been. Sleep soundly and rest with our other loved oned who will look after you until we can all be reunited. We all love you our sweet angel girl♥️
Katlin i really don't know what to say or where to start. I am at a loss for words and this has really hit home for me this week. I pray for comfort and understanding for you and the family through this difficult time. Take refuge in knowing Willow is in the arms of Jesus along with my Kaitlin whom we lost thirty-seven years ago. I won't say goodbye, just so long until we meet in Heaven beautiful little miss Willow. Jesus please take care of my dear friends Katlin and Ashley and keep them in the palm of your hands.
