William Wayne Logan, 74, of Morganton died Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Born in Burke County, NC on November 15, 1942, he was the son of the late John Lee Logan and Alice Margarie Kincaid Logan. Wayne was a member of Hartland Church of God.
Mr. Logan is survived by his brother, Ned C. Logan and wife, Rev. Dr. Priscilla Logan, of Morganton; sisters, Carolyn E. Logan and Dianne L. Lloyd, both of Morganton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by brothers, John Logan, James Logan, Harold Logan, and Ogbonna Bey; and a sister, Helen Kincaid.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Hartland Church of God. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. in the church with the Rev. Dr. Priscilla Logan, the Rev. Mitchell Brittain presiding. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
