It is with sadness the family of William “Billy” Ervin Patrick announce his passing on Sunday, November 14, 2021. He was 56 years old. Billy was born December 15, 1964 in McDowell County to James Albert Patrick, Sr. and the late Sheena Guffey McGinnis.
He was an electrician by trade and enjoyed traveling with his job. Billy’s hobbies included reading, music, and spending days at the river.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his dad, James Patrick, Sr. of Lenoir; sons, Christopher Patrick of Marion and Phillip Henry of Conover; step-daughter, Christiannah Spink of Lincolnton; three beautiful grandchildren; and siblings, James “Jimmy” Patrick, Jr. of Morganton, Lisa Patrick White of Hudson; Darrell Curtis of Cherokee, and Melissa Curtis of Asheville.
A celebration of Billy’s life will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
