William “Bill” Plese

William “Bill” Plese,74, of Morganton, NC, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023.

Born in Cook County, IL on June 30,1948, he was the son of the late Edward Plese and Anne Koch Plese. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Bill is survived by his step- son, Edward Campell; brothers Greg Plese, Edward Plese and Keith Plese; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Plese.

The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2023 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Ed Stephenson officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
