Wesley Lail, 60, of Morganton, NC, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2025.
Born in Burke County, NC on September 5, 1965, he was the son of the late Ira Lail and Elma Childers Lail.
Wesley worked at Michelle’s Bakery and enjoyed listening to music, especially the Beatles. He also enjoyed riding on the parkway and trips to the beach and mountains.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Tammy Waldrop Lail; son, Jacob Lail (Shelby); sisters, Fonda Brown (Steve) and Jamie Stoddard (Thurman); and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Wesley was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Ann Lail and Onita Faye Lail; and brother, Brady Lail.
There will be a gathering from 2 to 3 p.m., Sunday, October 19, 2025 at Sossoman Funeral Home.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
