Wanda Fender Fulbright, 90, of Valdese, NC passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. She was born on August 2, 1933 in Burke County to the late Lattie Fender and Eva Branch Fender. She attended Enon Baptist Church. Wanda loved her family dearly. She enjoyed keeping kids, being outdoors and loved growing flowers.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jesse James Fulbright; siblings, Betty Grady, Bud Fender and Gail Morris.
She is survived by her son, Marty Fulbright and wife, Tamara; grandchildren, Tate Martin Fulbright and Macy Lynn Fulbright; siblings, Charlene Ramsey and Phyllis Dale; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 3pm Friday, December 22, 2023 at Warlick’s Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Piercy officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
