Vickie Johnson, 50, of Bethel Rd., Morganton, NC died Sunday, January 22, 2006 at her residence following a period of declining health. She was born May 14, 1955 in Burke County, NC, and was a daughter of Ethel Fox Pritchard of Morganton, and the late Jack Pritchard. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Patrick Lee Johnson of Morganton; daughters, Tonya Johnson Gentry and husband, Jimmy Wayne of Connelly Springs, NC, and Angie Dawn Johnson Burgess and husband, Christopher of Morganton; grandchildren, Zackkery Christopher Burgess and Isaac Chandler Burgess; brothers, Ronnie Pritchard, C. L. Pritchard, and Keith Pritchard, all of Morganton; and a sister, Carolyn Denton of Morganton.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, January 28, 2006 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Douglas St. John officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
