Tonya Michelle King, 50, of Wilkesboro, NC, went to her heavenly home on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Born in Burke County, NC on January 1, 1972, she was the daughter of Terry Pendley and the late Janet Orders Pendley. Tonya enjoyed spending the day at the barn, surrounded by her horses and cats. She also enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. She had a beautiful soul and a smile that would light up any room. She is cherished and loved by many.
Tonya is survived by her loving daughter, Taylor Whisnant (Caleb); grandson, Hank; and many special family and friends.
A private service will be held for Tonya.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
