Visitation
Teresa Martin, 72, of Morganton, NC, passed away Friday, May 1, 2026.
Born in Guatemala on September 18, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Martin Tomas and Maria Francisco.
Teresa loved her family, plants, food (especially baking bread), and traveling. She also loved going to church at Casa Fe Emmanuel and was always well dressed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Jose Domingo and Victor Domingo; daughters, Elizabeth Martin, Angelica Martin, Maria Domingo, Claudia Domingo, and Ana Domingo; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Jose Martin and Miguel Martin; a sister, Maria Martin; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Tomas Domingo Felipe; sisters, Catarina Martin and Teresa Martin; and brothers, Francisco Martin and Andres Martin.
A celebration of Teresa’s life will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Casa Fe Emmanuel with Pastor Dwina Ramos officiating. The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 8, 2026 at Burke Memorial Park.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
