Tayler Wayne Piercy, 19, of Lenoir, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 15, 2022.
Born in Caldwell County, NC on June 10, 2003, he was the son of Sabrina Suzanne Starnes Piercy and the late Gary Lee Piercy. Tayler enjoyed doing anything outside, but he especially enjoyed being with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother; brothers, Tyler Piercy, Michael Piercy, and Dillan Frye; sisters-in-law, Christina Hawes, Nikki Robbins, and Courtney Privette; grandfathers, Tom Piercy and Ronald Starnes; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to his father, Tayler was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Bonnie Starnes and Patricia Piercy.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. in Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Milam officiating. Burial will follow in Conley Road Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting with the arrangements.
