Tamela J. Gary, 54, loving wife of William Ross Gary III passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017. Born in Cowpens, SC she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Betty Horne. In addition to her husband of 30 years she is survived by a brother, Bobby Horne (Rhonda) of Cowpens, Sister, Jackie Goble (Don) of Gaffney, two Nephews; Dean Horne (Amy), Lee Goble, two Nieces; Kelly Horne, Carly Goble, along with three Great Nephews and Nieces, Kane, Brooke, and Kasen, Best Friend Betty Hines of Spartanburg, and two precious fur-babies Linus and Zoe. Tami was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed the Beach, kayaking with dolphins, Ocean swimming and had a special connection to children and animals.
At the request of the deceased, no Memorial Service will be held. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Burke Hospice & Palliative Care for all of their compassion, and care.
Memorial contributions may be made to an animal rescue of one’s choosing or to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 1721 Enon Road, Valdese, NC 28690.
