Sylvia Lynn Garrison, 75, of Hudson, NC passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025 after a period of declining health. Sylvia was born in Morganton, NC on March 30, 1950, the daughter of the late Harding Mack Garrison and Helen Sparks Garrison. Along with her parents, Sylvia was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Linda Miller Garrison and a special aunt, Nancy Sparks Brittain.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brothers, Allen Garrison and Dan Garrison, wife Joann Panter Garrison; nephews, Brian Garrison and wife Laura, Keith Garrison and wife Kimberly; niece, Dr. Heather Garrison; close friends Betty Marcum, Linda Kiddy, Linda Parris Roberts, and her fur baby friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Littlejohn UMC, 4120 Littlejohn Church Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645, by Reverend Dr. Richard Irwin and Reverend Allen Boliek.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Littlejohn UMC.

I remember Sylvia! My mom Leona loved her. They worked at Shadowline together for many years. My thoughts are with Linda Kiddy and Betty Marcum. I still remember Sylvia's voice and laughter. She was such a nice lady. I know she's with my mom and there having a great time together.
