Susan Kendrick, 32, of Morganton, NC passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014. Born in Scotland County, NC on February 14, 1982, she was the daughter of Mary Ann Stockberger Robinson and her friend, Kenneth Loven, of Morganton and Kenny Kendrick of Arkansas. Susan was a medical tech and had worked at the McDowell House, Morganton Long Term Care, and Autumn Care of Drexel. She also worked at Sara Lee Bakery.
In addition to her parents, Susan is survived by her daughters, Kristen Kendrick and Madalaine Johnson; a brother, Ben Kendrick, of Louisiana; uncles, Max Stockberger, Jr. of Texas, Harry Stockberger and his wife, Sandy, of Indiana, and Byron Stockberger of Indiana; aunts, Diana Hess of Alaska, Laura Kays of Maryland, and Rae Jean McKinney and her husband, Danny, of New Mexico, and Annette Stockberger of Indiana; and many cousins and other relatives nationwide.
Susan was preceded in death by her step-father, J.C. Robinson; her paternal great-grandmother, Rose Bearden; and her maternal grandmother, Jean Stockberger.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 15, 2014 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Sossoman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 2608, Morganton, NC 28680 to help with expenses.
