Shannon Holbrooks

Shannon Holbrooks, 32, of Rain Hill Church, Morganton, NC died unexpectedly Saturday, January 19, 2008, at her residence. She was born in Mecklenburg County on July 20, 1975 and was a daughter of Terry Wayne Carpenter of Charlotte and Debra McKinney Ireland of Union Mills. Shannon had attended Faith Temple Tabernacle.Surviving in addition to her parents are her husband, Jamie Stephen Holbrooks; children, Ronnie J. Daniels, Zhana Daniels, Daniel Carpenter, and Summer Holbrooks, all of the home; her father-in-law and his wife, Marvin and Elaine Holbrook, of Nora, VA; her mother-in-law, Rosalee Holman, of Morganton; her paternal grandmother-in-law, Nellie Fugate, of Nora, VA; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2008, at Faith Temple Tabernacle with Rev. Danny Sprouse officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
