Sandra Daphne Causby, 63, of Drexel, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
Born in Burke County, NC on February 18, 1963, she was the daughter of the late Winfred Thomas Mace and Lucy Ann Dale Mace.
Sandra loved her children and her grandchildren with all her heart.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Andrew Watts and Cory Carter; grandchildren, Destiny Hardin, Dylan Hardin, Deacon Watts, Kade Watts, Tyler Watts, Elijah Carter, and Micah Carter; siblings, Tommy Calhoun (Crystal), Phillip Calhoun, Cheryl Pritchard (Kenneth), and Lisa Duckworth (Doug); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Causby; and a son, Jonathan Watts.
A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Bible Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Ricky Watkins officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
