Rosalind “Rozi” Pless, 65, of Morganton passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 21, 2019. Born in Columbia, SC on September 10, 1953, she was the daughter of Nell Clark Pless of the home and the late Robert J. Pless. Rozi was a member of Missionary Ridge Baptist Church and worked in several retail stores throughout the area. She enjoyed reading books, watching movies, and being with her family.
In addition to her mother, Rozi is survived by her brother, Robert “Bobby” Pless, Jr. of Morganton and several cousins.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Thomas A. Bland, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
