Ronnie Dean McLean, 60, of Forest City, NC went to his Heavenly home on Friday, October 23, 2026. Born on September 5, 1966, he was the son of the late Charles Kenneth McLean and Zora Edith “Tippy” Canipe McLean. Ronnie attended Faith Baptist Church. He worked at Chapman Grading and at Carswell Landscaping. Ronnie loved being outdoors, hunting and fishing.
Ronnie is survived by his sisters, Sharion Evans (Randy), and Lillie Setzer; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his brothers, William Joseph “Billy Joe” Canipe and Gerald McLean.
The family will receive friends from 1pm-2pm on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at Sossoman Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3pm at Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Casar, NC.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
