Ronald “Wade” Dale, 63, of Morganton, NC passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 27, 2022 at home.
Born in Morganton on February 20, 1959, he was the son of the late Robert “Bob” Dale and Clara Carpenter Dale. Wade retired from Broughton Hospital. He enjoyed decorating, especially decorating homes for close family members and friends during Christmas.
Wade is survived by his loving family, including his partner of 42 years, Randy Blanton; brother, Robin Alexander Dale (Teresa); former sister-in-law, Nita Dale; nieces, Dana Thompson, Gena Dale (Carl), and Alexis Dale (fiancé, Kerry); great-nieces and nephews, Daylin Thompson, Connor Brienzi, Carter Thompson, and Caylyn Brienzi; and his beloved canine companion, Bobo.
In addition to his parents, Wade was preceded in death by a brother, Rex Allen Dale.
A celebration of Wade’s life will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2022 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. David Bean officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
