Ronald Earl Watts, 65, of Morganton, NC, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026.
Born in Onslow County, NC on September 30, 1960, he was the son of the late Earl Ray Watts and Joyce Price Watts.
Ronald was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He was always demonstrating his deep love for his children and family. Ronald was a hard worker and was respected by his friends and associates. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family. Mr. Watts will always be remembered and terribly missed. “We all love you Ronnie and can’t wait to see you again.”
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Andrew Watts (Maggie); grandchildren, Destiny Harden and Dylan Harden; sisters, Jan Barrese, Connie Markley (Dennis), Ann Barnes (James), and Penny Smith (Craig).
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Watts; and a son, Jonathan Earl Watts.
A celebration of Mr. Watts’ life will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
