Roger Dale Smith, 68 of Lenoir, NC passed away, Sunday, February 16, 2020. Born on January 3, 1952, he was the son of the late Wilson Smith and Wilma McGalliard. Roger was a very devoted father, who loved his family dearly. He was a faithful and hard worker. Roger loved the Lord.
Roger is survived by his wife, Edith Dolores Donovan; daughters, LaTricia Donovan and fiancé, Timothy Green, Rachel Donovan and husband, Jamey Holloway, Crystal Smith, Teresa Smith, Brandie Smith; son, Jared Smith; sisters, Linda Brown and Gayle Campbell; 17 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his son, Marcus Andrew Good.
Services will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
