Bob was also a Shriner and a Master Mason of Taylorsville Lodge 243.

In addition to his parents, Bob Lowe was preceded in death by his wife Emily Lowe. He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Lowe Beach (Johnny) and his beloved granddaughter Aggie Beach, both of Morganton, N.C. After his return to Mountain City, Bob’s years were also enhanced by his close friendship with Lynn Shupe of Mountain City. He is also survived by his special cousin Mona Butler Alderson, and several other cousins.
