Dear Marcia, My deepest sympathy to you on the passing of Bob. I think of you often as I also live in NC, at the other end of the state in Cary since 1977. Too bad we don't live closer. I remember the good times we had in KHS many years ago and wonder where did the time go ? Take care of yourself and remember all the wonderful years you & Bob spent together and may he rest in peace. Sincerely, Annette

My husband, George Mcintosh, watched the commander of the DAV, chapter 43 in Morganton. We met Bob and his wife there. We were invited to their home and felt like we were family. He actually gave us one of his collections of newspapers from his hometown. We brought it home, looked at every page and then took it back to him where we talked for several hours. What a very special person he Wass. I know that his family will miss him very much! It was a privilege to know him.

My sincere condolences to the family. Bob and I had a great time talking about fishing and an occasional scotch. He will be sorely missed.!

Bob was a true joy at Burke Primary Care. He always showed me all his pictures from fishing in Alaska and his raccoons that he loved to feed. I am so very sorry. I wish I would have known he was sick, I would have visited. He even brought me some salmon from his last fishing trip. Marcia, I am praying for you and your family. He was a true gem!
