Robert “Bob” Brown, 82, of Morganton, died Sunday, December 18, 2016. Bob was born in Forrest City, AR on December 13, 1934 to the late Harold Burger Brown and Blanch Brown.
Bob was a member of East Valdese Baptist Church. He was a well-respected man that volunteered with the Good Samaritan Clinic and was an avid golfer. A graduate of Georgia Tech, Bob was a loyal Yellow Jacket fan.
Bob is survived by his wife, Betty “Sandy” Boone Brown; children, Carolanne Eaves and husband, Dennis of Duluth, GA and David Brown and wife, Kelly of Cherry Grove, SC; grandsons, Jeremy, Joshua, and Joseph Eaves; granddaughter, Ivey Brown; and brother, Harold Brown and wife, Arlene of Washington State.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at East Valdese Baptist Church. The memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at East Valdese Baptist Church.
