Ricky McNeely, 60, of Morganton, NC passed away on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Autumn Care of Drexel. He was born on December 26, 1962 in Burke County to the late Hal McNeely and Thelma Ledford McNeely. He was raised in the Methodist faith. Ricky worked for the City of Morganton and for Mount Home Baptist Church and did yard work. He was member of CSA and was a NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his uncle, Gary “TZ” Ledford; cousin, Roger Ledford.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The service will begin at 2:00pm in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with the Revs. Jerry Gamble and James Tabor officiating. Burial will follow at New Home United Methodist Church Cemetery, 544 Moriah School Rd, Casar, NC.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
