I was so saddened to hear that my sweet friend, Richard has passed away. I loved Richard and Doretta so much! I met and came to know Richard, many years ago, when I needed some handy work done around my house. Richard was in need of some work, and so I decided to try I’m out. I saw him every day for a couple of weeks as he accomplished the tasks that I needed. During that time, we engaged in many topics of conversation, with the most popular topic being religion and worship. Richard lit up when he spoke of our Father in heaven and His son, Jesus Christ. I loved those special talks he and I had together. Richard always spoke his mind, and was strong in whatever he believed in. He truly loved his Doe, (Doretta), and was looking out for her and his safety, and future needs. I will miss you my sweet friend, but know that we will see one another again! Love and prayers for Doretta and family. ❤️

I was notified by our Uncle Joe Beichner of Richards passing. I am not sure if Richard ever visited PA with his father back in the 60's or 70's. Not sure we ever met. I am a first cousin to Richard, as my mother Patricia Beichner was his aunt. I just wanted to send my condolences to the family. I am encouraged by Paul Mears witness of Richards faith that I will meet him one day. Sincerely, Colleen Walters

Richard was a true American hero who loved his country and loved the Lord. Whenever I would speak with him, his conversation would always gravitate to how he could better prepare himself for the day when he went home to be with his Savior. He always had a scripture that he would share with me. He loved his children and his dear Doretta, and was always thinking of ways to make their life more comfortable now, and in the future, when he would no longer be with them. Rest in peace my friend. You have fought the good fight and now you have finished your course! Semper fi
