Committal
Phyllis Beck Fox, 78, of Morganton, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 21, 2025.
Born in Burke County, NC on January 7, 1947, she was the daughter of the late James Douglas Beck and Ellene Sanders Beck.
Phyllis was a member of First Advent Christian Church for over 48 years, was a member of WHFMS for many years, and had served as church treasurer. Mrs. Fox was a member of Burke Quilting Guild and a great friend and neighbor to all. Phyllis retired from Henredon Furniture with 38 years of service.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Tracey Fox Fowler (Kevin); grandchildren, Kaitlyn Grace Fowler and Chad Fowler (Tiffany); great-grandchildren, Reagan, Roman, and Ranger; and brother, James “Buster” Beck.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Fox.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at First Advent Christian Church. A celebration of Phyllis’ life will follow at 1 p.m. in the church with Rev. Patrick Bradshaw officiating.
