Phyllis A. Yahnke, 75, of Morganton, NC passed away, Monday, July 31, 2023. Born on November 18, 1947, she was the daughter to the late Claude and Phyllis Roberts. Phyllis loved watching TV, writing poetry, coloring, crocheting, and working on puzzles. She loved her dogs and family dearly.
Phyllis is survived by her children, Richard Yahnke, Bridgett Cottrell (William), Clyde Yahnke (Angela), Dennis Yahnke; grandchildren, Michael Yahnke, Donald J. Ellis, William Cottrell, Jr., Cody Cottrell, Derek Yahnke, Mitchell Yahnke, Mallory Yahnke, Dalen Yahnke, Jessa Yahnke, Nathan Yahnke, Kaedyn Yahnke, brothers, Jeffrey Roberts, Daniel Roberts; sister, Judy Karsten.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her brothers, Dennis Roberts, Patrick Roberts, David Roberts.
The graveside service will be held at 3pm, Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
