Phillip Earl, 63, of Hickory, NC passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017. Born in Litchfield County, CT on December 20, 1953, he was the son of the late Nellis Carlton Earl and Phyllis Arlene MacKenney Earl Gardner. Phillip had worked for the state of Alaska, Rockford Corporation in Oregon, and was currently working at Sam’s Club in Hickory, NC. He was active in Community Theater in Alaska. Mr. Earl was a kind man who would try to help everyone.
Phillip is survived by his brothers, Donald Earl and wife, Patsy, of Las Vegas, NV, Michael Earl of Anchorage, AK, and David Earl and wife, Denise, of Anchorage; 3 nieces; and 4 nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11am to 12pm, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center. The funeral will be held at 12pm in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
