Pehyun Wen, 80, of Morganton, NC died Thursday, February 22, 2008. He was born July 16, 1927 in Peking, China, and was a son of the late Yuan-Ning and Una Wen. Wen was a teacher and a traveler. He was a friendly and caring man who never met a stranger. Wen was well loved and will be missed.He is survived by his adopted family, Mickey and Susanne Saunders and their children, Anthony, Vanessa, and Nathaniel, all of Morganton; and two brothers, Chung-Chi and Tsung Wen.A visitation for Mr. Wen will be held from 6-7:00 PM, Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Mt. Home Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family.
