Pauline Margaret Milligan

Pauline Margaret Milligan, 81, of Morganton passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019.  Born in Burke County, NC on February 23, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Roy Gilbert and Lillie Moffitt Gilbert.  Pauline retired from Western Carolina Center.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie Nix (Rick); son, Ronnie Milligan (Penny); beloved grandchildren, Kaleigh Milligan (Meredith), Jackson Milligan, Kinsey Ward (Randy), Kristan Barrier (Mark), Ann Church (Justin), Joey Nix, and Matt Nix; beloved great-grandchildren, Jude Ward, Jedadigh Ward, Lincoln Barrier, Lain Barrier, Madison Barrier, Jackson Church, and Kinsley Church; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by an infant son, Brian Frank Milligan; and a number of brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
