Paulette Dianne Hines, 74, of Morganton passed away Monday, November 1, 2021. Born in Iredell County, NC on July 26, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Alfred Price and Pauline Cook Price. Paulette was a member of Mt. Home Baptist Church. She was a social butterfly who had a heart of gold and enjoyed talking to others. In her early years she enjoyed cooking for her family. Paulette loved to travel, especially to the mountains and beach.
Paulette is survived by her beloved family: son, Andy Culp (Stephanie); daughters, Meredith Cherry (John) and Ashlyn Lambert; grandchildren, Kelsey, Kala, Brooklyn, Maddox, Deacon, Katie (Steve), Madeline, Holly (Derrick), and Hailey; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Emma, Calla; brothers, Chipper Price (Gail) and Jimmy Price (Angie); sister, Susan James; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Paulette was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Hines.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Mt. Home Baptist Church. The funeral will be held at noon in the church with Rev. Jerry Gamble officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
