Nina Collene Twigg Moses, 79, of Morganton, NC passed away at her residence, Sunday, April 26, 2015 with her family at her bedside. Born February 18, 1936 in Allegany County, MD, she was a daughter of the late William David Twigg and Helen Elizabeth Weese Twigg. Nina was a homemaker who was passionate about her flower gardens.
A loving mother, grandmother, and sister, Nina is survived by children, E. Jane Ransbottom, Patricia A. McPeters and husband, Charlie, Janet L. Dale and husband, Benny, and Johnny D. Moses and wife, Cathy, all of Morganton, and Daniel W. Moses and Gregory A. Moses, both of South Carolina; grandchildren, Brandi D. Deal, Ashley D. Ransbottom, Jason R. Dale, Angela R. DeHart, Iva M. Smart, Christopher D. Moses, Joshua A. Moses, Draven L. Moses, Destiny L. Moses, Dillan T. Moses, Natalie A. Moses, Levi Moses, and Madison E. Moses; six great-grandchildren, and siblings, Donald R. Twigg of Virginia and Lois I. Twigg Roesly of Michigan.
In addition to her parents, Nina was preceded in death by her former husband, John Edward Moses; a son, Brian Lee Moses; a son-in-law, Marc J. Ransbottom; four brothers and two sisters.
