Ned Creed Johnson

Ned Creed Johnson, 86, of Morganton, NC passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born in McDowell County, NC on August 11, 1928, he was the son of the late Charlie Martin Johnson and Martha Bruner Johnson.
Ned loved his family and Jesus. He found good in everyone. He enjoyed tinkering with his antique cars, sitting on his porch in Blowing Rock, and doing yard work. Ned was a successful business owner and operated Johnson Janitorial Service.
Ned is survived by his wife of 62 years, Annie Mae Dale Johnson of the home; son, N. Miles Johnson of Jamestown, NC; daughters, Pamela Johnson Farthing and husband, John of Apex, NC, Betsy Johnson and Victoria Johnson Trivett and husband, Allen Trivett all of Morganton; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, James Johnson.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with Rev. Kevin Crawford officiating. The service will follow in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
