Nancy Gragg, 80, of Morganton, NC, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. She was born on February 11, 1946 in Burke County to the late Ernest E. Terry and Ruby Mae Clarke Terry. Nancy retired from Broughton Hospital where she worked as a CNA. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly. Nancy was a great fan of George Jones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Herndon Terry, Edgar Ernest Terry, Shirley Ann Alspaugh, Melvin Terry, Jackson Terry, Douglas Terry, Martha Shuffler, and Wayne Terry.
Nancy is survived by her children, Brett Preston Gragg, Hardie Clayton Gragg (Ada), and Ruth Nanette Amon; grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Michelle, Hattie, Patience, Hardie, Clayton and Tyler (aka Jerry); many great-grandchildren.
The family will have a service at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
